Japan brand B series automatic levels feature enhanced reliability under all environmental conditions. Tough and compact bodies are more tightly sealed against water, humidity and dust (IPx6). The B series levels provide quick setup, easy sighting, and superior durability against vibration and shock, ensuring the increased productivity over an extra-long period of time.

    Superior Telescope

Optimally designed telescope provides exceptionally bright and sharp view that reduces operator's eye strain. Ultra-short focus distance of 20cm (7.9in.) from end of telescope makes it easiest to use in confined locations.

    Quick Collimation

Two knobs of endless horizontal motion drives can be operated with either hand for fast and easy aiming. Horizontal Angle Measurement Horizontal angles can be read in 1° or 1 gon units. Freely rotatable circle allows any angle reading from zero. Right angles can be quickly set for layout and alignment tasks. The readout window is conveniently located on the instrument base - directly below the eyepiece.

    Stadia

The stadia lines on the reticle allow distance measurements. Simply multiply the staff length between the top and bottom stadia lines by 100.

    Easy To Adjust

Reticle adjustment is made with one screw. Circular levels vial is adjusted with two screws. Both adjustments are simple and fast with provided tools.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q1 What is the water resistance rating of the B series automatic levels?

The B series automatic levels feature tough, compact bodies tightly sealed against water, humidity, and dust, with a certified water resistance rating of IPX6 (EC 60529:2001).

Q2 What is the minimum focus distance of the Model B20?

The B20 offers an ultra-short focus distance of 0.2m (7.9in.) from the end of the telescope, and 0.3m (1ft.) from the instrument center, making it exceptionally easy to use in confined locations.

Q3 How do you measure distance using the stadia lines?

To measure distance using the reticle's stadia lines, simply multiply the staff length between the top and bottom stadia lines by 100.

Q4 What is the leveling accuracy of the Model B20?

For a 1km double run leveling, the standard deviation accuracy is 0.7mm without a micrometer, and increases to 0.5mm when using a micrometer.

Q5 How easily can the B series levels be adjusted?

Adjustments are simple and fast with the provided tools. Reticle adjustment requires only one screw, while the circular level vial is adjusted with two screws.

Q6 How does the horizontal angle measurement system work?

Horizontal angles can be read in 1° or 1 gon units. A freely rotatable circle allows any angle reading from zero, facilitating quick layout and alignment tasks. The readout window is conveniently located directly below the eyepiece on the instrument base.
