High Precision 24X Sokkia B40 Auto Level Survey Instrument from China Suppliers and Factory - Accurate & Reliable
SOKKIA B series automatic levels feature enhanced reliability under all environmental conditions. Tough and compact bodies are more tightly sealed against water, humidity and dust (IPx6). The B series levels provide quick setup, easy sighting, and superior durability against vibration and shock, ensuring the increased productivity over an extra-long period of time.
Superior Telescope
Optimally designed telescope provides exceptionally bright and sharp view that reduces operator's eye strain. Ultra-short focus distance of 20cm (7.9in.) from end of telescope makes it easiest to use in confined locations.
Quick Collimation
Two knobs of endless horizontal motion drives can be operated with either hand for fast and easy aiming. Horizontal Angle Measurement Horizontal angles can be read in 1° or 1 gon units. Freely rotatable circle allows any angle reading from zero. Right angles can be quickly set for layout and alignment tasks. The readout window is conveniently located on the instrument base - directly below the eyepiece.
Stadia
The stadia lines on the reticle allow distance measurements. Simply multiply the staff length between the top and bottom stadia lines by 100.
Easy To Adjust
Reticle adjustment is made with one screw. Circular levels vial is adjusted with two screws. Both adjustments are simple and fast with provided tools.

Q: What is the water resistance rating of the SOKKIA B series automatic levels?
The SOKKIA B series levels feature tough, compact bodies that are tightly sealed against water, humidity, and dust, achieving an IPX6 protection rating (IEC 60529:2001).
Q: What is the minimum focus distance of the SOKKIA B40 telescope?
The telescope features an ultra-short focus distance of 0.2m (7.9in.) from the end of the telescope, and 0.3m (1ft.) from the instrument center, making it highly effective in confined locations.
Q: How do the horizontal angle measurements work on this device?
Horizontal angles can be read in 1° or 1 gon units. The device features a freely rotatable circle allowing any angle reading from zero, with a readout window conveniently located on the instrument base directly below the eyepiece.
Q: How is distance measured using the Stadia lines?
Distance measurements are simple. You only need to multiply the staff length measured between the top and bottom stadia lines on the reticle by 100.
Q: Is it difficult to adjust the reticle and circular levels?
No, adjustments are quick and easy. The reticle adjustment is made using only one screw, and the circular levels vial is adjusted with two screws, using the tools provided.
Q: What type of compensator is used in the B40 model?
The B40 is equipped with a pendulum compensator featuring a magnetic damping system, with a setting accuracy of 0.5" and a working range of ±15'.
